Until Brené Brown came onto the scene with her Ted Talk on Vulnerabiltiy (highly recommended) I used the words courage and bravery interchangeably. And then Brené gave us this definition of Courage:

Reflecting on Mother's day, with Father's day ahead of us gave me pause to reflect on parenting. There's different styles out there: helicopter, lawnmower, free range, tiger mom (been there). But I've settled into my favourite version of parenting, which I would liken to curling.
