Fulfilment holds memory. Joy holds the moment. Your mind, your body, and your breath are tools for achieving joy.

The old pattern

You've named it in therapy. You can describe it on a podcast. And still, in the moment, the body does what it has always done.

The quiet calling

Something is asking to be lived more honestly — through your nervous system, your relationships, the way you take up space.

The held breath

You move through your days capable and competent, and somewhere underneath, your shoulders haven't fully exhaled in years.

Three doorways into the work.

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

1:1 Somatic Coaching

ONE — PRIVATE

A six-month container for the long, quiet work. We meet to listen to the body's intelligence, soften old protective patterns, and build a nervous system that can hold your real life.

  • Nervous-system regulation

  • Embodied practices

  • Empowerment and self actualisation

Workshops & Seminars

TWO — GROUP

Half- and full-day gatherings for people who want to think less and feel more. Mindfulness, movement, breath, somatic inquiry, and the quiet power of experiencing in a room full of others.

NEXT:

A handful of times each year I take a small group somewhere quiet — jungle, coast, sometimes Tuscany — for several days of practice, rest, long meals, and the kind of silence that lets the body unclench.

EMBODIED LEADERSHIP

Gillian Wagner

ABOUT

I have spent over thirty years in rooms with people and their bodies — as a thought leader, a somatic practitioner, a witness. My work sits at the meeting place of science and the ancient, slower wisdom the body has always carried.

I believe most of us are not broken. We are bracing against our history. And the work, when it is honest, is more about learning to let the body unclench in its own time.

THE PATH OF RETURN

How we work, together

Lasting change isn't forced. It's noticed, then practised. Our work moves through three quiet stages.

sensing the terrain

01

We work gently with the patterns held in tissue: old protections, inherited weight, the places that learned to brace.

02

listening to echoes

We slow down enough to hear what your body has actually been saying — under the words, under the strategies.

03

living the integration

We anchor the shifts into ordinary life — how you sleep, speak, lead, love, and rest.

‘Gillian makes it safe enough that the body reveals, on its own. I've done a lot of work in my life. Nothing has shifted me like this. It was magic.’

‘There are moments in life when you meet a person who makes something in you vibrate. That's what happened to me with Gillian. I appreciate her essence, her thoughts, her humour, her lightness and how she invites people to share in her wisdom and knowledge about the interconnectedness of spiritual, mental and physical health.’

Questions

I've never done somatic work. Do I need experience?

1

Not at all. Most people I work with are new to it. You only need a willingness to be curious about what the body is doing.

Is this therapy?

2

No. It's coaching. We work with the present-moment body and nervous system, not as a substitute for clinical care.

How is this different from yoga?

3

Yoga is one of the doorways. The 1:1 work is more individualised — listening closely to your particular nervous system, your particular life. Workshops, lectures and speaking events can be tailored to your audience needs.

Where are you based?

4

Currently Frankfurt, Germany. I see clients in person locally and online worldwide.
